This debut album from Feature Presentation, a band from a small town in Illinois just south of Chicago, proves that when you work at it, things fall into place. The collective mix of pop-rock, and screaming angsty vocals, with guitar ballads and melodic bass lines, this album is sure to be stuck in CD players around the states. To think that this band once shoved flyers in pants pockets and played in front of a local McDonalds just to be heard is just a few of the ways they proved that they will do and try anything to make it. The opening song “Matt’s song” opens as a classic emo ballad, sadness and anger that then switches roughly to a metalistic style ending. Leaving the album with “Where to Begin” the pop-punk song with a strong sound that leaves you wanting more, is a perfect way to start the album all over again.
