BV: Seeing as you have been on this tour for a while; how has it been?
George: Pretty awesome. I don't really know how to describe it. All of the bands we've been out with have been really good friends of ours. Every band that has been on this tour, Boys Like Girls and Over It were on before this and we've been good friends with those guys and then Peachcake dropped on. This was the first time we met those guys but we've end up getting to know those guys too. It seems like every band we've been out with right now is just someone we really enjoy spending time with.

BV: How's the crowd reaction been at these shows?
Max: It's not as consistent as we'd like it to be, but its been pretty good. You can't expect every town to clap or give you the hoorah every time you ask them for it. But overall I think its been good. Wouldn't you agree?
George: Yeah, its pretty surprising in some places we've never played before. We're getting a pretty good response from a lot of people and people singing along in towns we've never been to.

BV: So far, what's been the best city you've been to on this tour?
George: Our favorite show so far was last night in Anaheim. I thought the club (Chain Reaction) was a lot of fun. The kids there were really cool to us and it was the first time we really played there besides Bamboozle about a month and a half ago and to just see these kids come back after seeing us there was really cool.

BV: Have any funny stories so far?
Max: We do, but I just can't think of any...
George: We hit a deer that one night
Max: Oh yeah, yeah. I mean I'm sure it wasn't as funny for the deer as it was for us.
George: That's not really funny for us either, but it was something that happened. Other than that we're pretty lame dudes.
Max: Yeah, we were driving overnight going to Florida from Georgia and me and Tom were up from and we were listening to Tom's 70's dance mix...
George: Tom's our camera guy.
Max: And we were just driving and there was a deer was just sitting there. And I swerved at the last second just in case it did move and it did move. I dodged it with the van, but it hit our trailer. When we stopped to check it out our whole trailer fender was completely destroyed.
George: I was asleep when it happened. I thought we crashed. I thought I was going to die!
BV: That's no good!
George: A lot of our memorable moments involve us driving late at night. Another time we were driving through Texas...
Max: Oh man...
George: ... and Max was asleep and Shane was driving and Shane had it on cruise control and was hitting a turn and Max woke up, saw the turn and started screaming. He thought Shane was asleep.
Max: I thought Shane was asleep and was like, "Whooooaaa!" And when I said that everyone in the van popped up and thought that we were about to crash and Shane just looked at the rear view mirror and was like, "What's going on?"
George: Yeah, he was pretty pissed at us...
Max: then I was like, "Sorry, dude." And everyone just went right back to sleep.

BV: Haha, That's pretty darn funny. So, I've been noticing that you guys have been getting some good reviews on your album. How is that? Is it pretty surreal?
Max: Yeah, I guess you could say that. Its cool to see that people are actually listening to it and taking the time to write about it and not only that but writing good things. Its great. You write a record and play music and you never expect people to listen to it and write such good things. So its been awesome.

BV: Awesome. I look forward to seeing you guys perform. I've been listening and am becoming a fan myself.
Max: Great. Thanks to Joey for letting us use their van to do this interview.
