Christian : So you guys have played San Diego.. do you think the crowd responds well to your music?

Nick: Yes, there were kids singing along which is really cool.

Christian : Where would you say has the best audience?

Nick: New Jersey. We hit up the East Coast alot, especially Jersey for some reason, many many times, so it’s cool.

Christian : Where have you been most recently on this tour?

David: We’ve just hit almost everywhere in the past 2 months with Sugarcult. We did full the U.S., major cities, and now we’re hitting basically everywhere we didn’t hit and places we did.

Christian : What kind of crazy stuff has happened on the road?

Nick: We got done playing a show, and we strolled up in our van to White Castle and ordered.. and everytime, it happens that they get the order wrong, there’s always like 7 people yelling, so we pulled up, we ordered and they got it wrong. We pulled back around and by that time, some other car was in the drive thru line ordering, so what we did was pulled around him, and there was so much space.. we went to the drive thru window to be like “Hey, you’re missing a cheeseburger!” and this guy must’ve thought we were gonna cut him off or hit his car, so we get our food, we’re happy, we’re eating our food on the side, and the guy that was in the line, pulls around and knocks on the window.. and he goes, “You guys almost hit our car, so why don’t you take your big white van back to Missouri where you came from!” Then he goes back in his car, and peels off at 90 miles an hour..

Christian : Tell us about the newest projects you’re working on.

Nick: Well, we have a month to a month & a half off because of December & Christmas time. All the other bigger tours are taken, so there’s a lot of dead time every year. So we’re just gonna chill at home for a month and just write some stuff. We don’t really know what we’re gonna record next.

Christian : What’s something about the band that might surprise your fans?

David: I personally love Freddie Krueger movies. I’m a huge fan, I watch all of em, all the time.

Nick: I love all the Star Wars movies, I like Irish music.

David: I know all the words to “Ice Ice Baby.”

Christian : What’s your favorite interview question?

David: I like when people ask, “What are you inspired by?” I like that question because it gives us a chance to explain what we like. Kids like our music, and we like somebody else too just like you like us, so its kind of like a cycle.

Christian : What are your influences?

David: I’m a huge fan of Steve Perry, Journey, and that’s about it, that and The Scorpions.

Nick: I like a lot of heavy music. I remember it being 1998 and I saw a Refused music video, that blew my mind, it changed my whole aspect. I like heavy music a lot. Muse is good. Softer stuff, as far as that goes, Jeff Buckley.
