BV: When did your band form?
ACOP: 2000. I mean we had Torry; we started playing together eight years ago in a different band. Two of the guys left that band. We picked up Johnny and Adam in 2002. We've been together like four years. Dan just joined the band recently. He's been in the band for seven months now.

BV: When did you start recording?
ACOP: We recorded our first album in our senior year of high school. This new one was recorded in Mach and April. The first one is like a screamo record and the other is really good. The first one sounds like it was written by 16 and 17-year-olds; the second one sounds like we've grown a little bit and made changes. This new CD is on a lighter note; it's more fun. We decided which direction we wanted our music to go in. It's good to just drive down the freeway and enjoy it. We're all done with our teen angst.

BV: Are you recording or working on anything right now?
ACOP: We write every now and then. We're just touring. We're going to be really writing in October and probably record a new CD in January.

BV: How are you enjoying touring?
ACOP: Oh, it's sweet. The last few nights have just been really haggard. We're just drinking, fooling around, and smoking. That's about it.

BV: What's your favorite song to play live?
ACOP: Take Care, Weekend Warriors, and Prepare the Masses. We all enjoy the songs that we have the most pride in.

BV: Who writes the songs?
ACOP: Torry writes the lyrics and Adam writes too. We all write the music. We get together in a 10x10 room; we all sit down and say "what should we start with today?" Most of the stuff on the new CD is personal stuff. It's life experiences, but a lot of it is whatever's going on in my mind. I don't think there's a standardized thing I'm trying to say in this record.

BV: What would you say best describes your sound?
ACOP: Pop baby, pop. I wouldn't say a pop punk band, per say. We're a rock band. We're sweet.

BV: Have you ever played in San Diego before?
ACOP: We've played a bunch here. San Diego's not right for us. It's not one of our better places. I say when we headline here it's better. This kind of tour there's a different kind of crowd. The bands on this tour are kind of a different genre. We don't really break that mold.

BV: What do you enjoy most about being in music?
ACOP:Touring, everything, free bud, being in the studio and being creative. Getting the opportunity to have people actually hear your music is probably the best part of being in music.

BV: Where do you see this band in the future?
ACOP: We're going to be driving in cars without wheels. I see us being the biggest band in the whole world.

BV: What do you think of your fans?
ACOP: They're young. We have a cool fan base. They're all like friends.

BV: What's your advice to bands just starting out?
ACOP: Work hard, and just don't give up your dreams. Play a lot of shows and meet a lot of people. Have fun with it.

BV: How did you come up with your name?
ACOP:Lack of options basically. It's in a Blink 182 song.

BV: What do you do when you're not touring?
ACOP: We play basketball every night. We go running and try to stay in shape. I straighten my hair. I go shopping daily. Being home sucks because we don't have jobs or go to school. We eat food, go to Applebees, gamble, drink and get tattoos a lot.

BV: Is there anything you would like to say to your fans?
ACOP: Buy our CD and thanks.
