How long have you guys been a band?
About 5 and a half years.

How is the tour with Norman Jean, Madball, and A Life Once Lost going?
It's going really good, we've been on tour with them for about two and a half weeks with the first date in Atlanta.

Is touring what you thought it would be like when you were young?
Music has always been a big part of my life and I've always wanted to tour when I was younger but it's definitely a lot more work and a lot more to it then just playing every night.

Where is your favorite city to play?
San Diego is always great because that's where we're from but I really like playing every city. We had a show the other night in Chicago at the House Of Blues and the crowd was going crazy, it was an amazing show.

What bands have inspired you the most?
Metal bands like Pantera, Megadeth, Living Sacrifice, Zao, and Fear Factory, bands like that.

What bands have you just recently gotten into, like what bands do you like to listen to on the road?
This band called DragonForce from Europe, they are like a fantasy metal, super shredder type of style, it's really cool.

Who is your favorite drummer of all time?
Vinnie Paul.

Who are 3 historical figures you would like to play for?
Maybe not necessarily a historical figure but a person I would like to play for is my Grandpa. Jesus of Nazareth would be cool...I mean why not, and King Tut because he's a sweet mummified dude.

What was high school like for you?
Honestly, high school was all music for me, I went to a couple different high schools because I moved around a lot. I graduated a year early because I did this independent study program, and I just wanted to work and play music and the best way for me to be able to do that was to do the independent study program so I could just go into school once a week and turn in my work.

What was your favorite job when you were younger?
I was a manager at a pretzel place which was fun, I painted and did construction for a while. One of my favorite jobs was working at a golf course because I got free golf at a nice course.

Where do you want to be in 5 years?
I'm passionate with what I am doing right now and I just hope to be doing what I am doing with my life right now.

Do you have a girlfriend?
Yes, she lives back at home in San Diego.

Who do you think is the hottest women in the music/movie industry?
Kylie Minogue

What is your favorite t.v. show?
Family Guy is always a favorite, I like News Radio a lot. I also just bought the Duck Tales collection on DVD, which is pretty sweet.

What are your top 3 movies?
Pirates Of The Caribbean, Indiana Jones, and Beauty and The Beast.

What are your top 3 albums?
The Great Southern Trendkill by Pantera, Rest in Peace by Megadeth and Dizzy Up the Girl by the Goo Goo Dolls.

Has anything outrageously funny happened on the tour so far, are you guys a band that play pranks on the other bands?
Not so much anymore, I think we're turning into old men. We use to pull some pranks like put dead animals and meat in other bands vans. We got in a snowball fight the other day, it got pretty crazy and I ended up with a crack in my windshield.

What's next for the band, what's coming up after the tour?
After this we are going to take six weeks off and try to write a little bit and then we're going on The Taste of Chaos tour which begins in mid-February and is about 2 months long.

Cool. Thanks for the interview! Anything you want to tell your fans?
Come to Taste of Chaos!!!
